With the winter upon us now, I have really started to wish I was back in Los Cabos Mexico, but that is now behind us all! On December 16th I had the pleasure to shoot a band I have liked since highschool, Protest The Hero! They have become pretty popular here in North America and they just keep getting better! Anywho, here they are! The venue was the London Music Hall. Promotion was done by Summercamp Productions, and I give a big thanks to Eedy and Underground Operations for helping me out for the night! Sorry for the lack of activity lately, been really busy since we came back from Los Cabos! I have been working on the portfolio part of the website and it is slowly but surely coming together! I hope everyone had a good Christmas and I am sure people are looking forward to the new year!

Today my dad proposed to his girlfriend and she said yes, so there will be a wedding or two in the near future .

Los Cabos Day 5!

It is amazing how fast 5 days go by! I am just sitting here eating supper at the buffet going over the shots Phil and I have taken over the last couple of days. The weather here has been fantastic and really couldn’t of asked for better weather. I hear it has snowed back home and really hope that is not the case haha, because we have been enjoying 27 degree sunny weather! Today we did an awesome morning adventure out to the infamous San Lucas arch. The waves were sweet and the views were awesome! Here is a quick self portrait for Divorce Beach. Today is going to be a quick posting, just getting settled into the hotel in Los Cabos, Mexico. What a different a 5 hour flight makes, oh my! The weather here is beautiful, the people are nice and the scenery is amazing! Today we are going to go scope out some spots by boat towards this awesome rock formation in the bay, right on the boarder of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean! Here is a shot from one of the guys rooms that shows where we are and where we will be going!

Los Cabos

Hello everyone, just thought I should give a quick update as I have been rather quietly lately! Been a busy week, did two presentations at my old high school in regards to new media and photography. Concerts have been rather quiet lately too, still have THE MOST SERENE REPUBLIC, MELIGROVE BAND, THE CREEPSHOW and THE JOHNSTONES videos to post, as well as some live clips of SUNDAY WARFARE and SPIRAL BEACH that haven’t made it up. I was planning on having this all done before I left on my trip, but this week has flown by! I am heading to Toronto on Saturday and will not be back in London until Dec 12th at the earliest!

On Dec 3rd, I will be leaving on a fun-filled trip to LOS CABOS, MEXICO! Those who know me know that I have been waiting for this trip for a while and am really excited that I will be there a week from today! I will be posting daily updates of our adventures as it is a photoshoot that is taking us to the sunny shores of the Baja Peninsula.
Anyways, please keep checking back regularly! I will hopefully have my portfolio up soon, but for now you can still see my flickr for my older photos. Have an awesome start to December and hopefully by the time I am back the LTC strike will be over!

New York Based Fun. has just released their first video from what I think is one of the best albums of 2009. Check out their myspace here as well as the video to ALL THE PRETTY GIRLS. By the way, they supported MANCHESTER ORCHESTRA (my vote for the best album of 2009) and will be supporting JACKS MANNEQUIN for their US tour. Hope to see some Canadian dates!

A Horse and His Boy LIVE + Photos

For those around London, the name A HORSE AND HIS BOY might sound somewhat familiar. For those who haven’t heard of this name (or who think it is JUST a novel by C. S. Lewis) they are a local band that have exploded onto the scene. It is hard to really put them into a category, electronic based, but with awesome drum and bass and some sweet guitar riffs. Nevertheless, they have created a very unique sound and everyone should really check them out. While they might not be everyone’s cup of tea, I personally think that these guys and OLENKA AND THE AUTUMN LOVERS are the best bands coming out of this town!
